2019 Renault Kwid Facelift Spied, Inspired By K-ZE

The 2019 Renault Kwid facelift has been spotted on test and it features styling similar to the K-ZE.

The Renault Kwid facelift gets all-new headlamps and grille

Renault has been working on a major facelift of the Kwid to be launched this year and now the vehicle has been spotted on test. The French automaker had recently revealed the Kwid K-ZE electric car and it seems that this facelift takes some design inspiration from the electric version.

As seen in the spy images, the test mule’s grille is different from that of the Kwid K-ZE but the shape of the headlights looks similar. The test mule also has a fuel lid at the conventional spot indicating that this is the petrol variant and not the electric version.

The Renault Kwid facelift will get cosmetic changes all around and it is also likely to come with updated interiors with more features. The vehicle will also come with all the safety features required for the new norms and it’s engine will also be made BS6 compliant.

Renault is also considering the launch of the Kwid EV in the Indian market but its launch is still sometime away. The company might be waiting to see how the market reacts to a small EV and study pricing expectations before venturing into this territory.
