2019 Yamaha Saluto Launched, Priced From Rs. 52,000/-

The 2019 Yamaha Saluto and Saluto RX have been launched in India, both the models come with UBS.

Both the bikes come with UBS (Unified Braking System)

Yamaha India has launched the updated Saluto and Saluto RX incorporating Unified Braking System (UBS) for all variants of both the motorcycles. Both Saluto 125 and Saluto RX get 4 graphic and colour options while the Saluto continues to get disc variants along with the drum variants.

UBS is a braking technology which improves braking performance of the motorcycle by partially applying front brakes when the rear brake has been applied completely. This is quite similar to CBS (Combi-Brake System) as seen on Honda 2-wheelers.

Yamaha has taken this step well in advance in order to comply with the government norms making CBS/UBS mandatory for 2-wheelers under 125cc. This rule will come into effect from 1st April 2019.

The 2019 Yamaha Saluto has a 125cc, 4-stroke, 2-Valve, air-cooled, SOHC engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development ideal. It weighs the lowest in its class at 114 kgs. Meanwhile, The Saluto RX is powered by a 110cc, 4-stroke, 2-valve, air-cooled, SOHC engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development concept. The Saluto RX is also the lightest motorcycle in its class at 99 kgs.

The new Yamaha Saluto 125cc starts at Rs. 58,800/- and the new Saluto RX 110cc at Rs. 52,000/- (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
