While we wait for Ducati to launch their BS6 range in India, meanwhile a special Ducati Scrambler was unveiled in Italy recently and it is the Ducati Scrambler Club Italia. This is not the first time Ducati has done this though.

Twenty-five years ago, in 1995, Ducati collaborated with Scuderia Club Italia which resulted in the admirable Ducati Monster 900 Club Italia. And, for 2020, they’ve chosen the Scrambler 1100 for the same.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 needs no introduction. It has been in the market for a fairly long time and has proven to be a successful and capable motorcycle throughout the world.

For the limited edition variant, it gets a variety of changes. Although the basic engine specifications remain the same, you can expect a bump in performance and some weight-loss, thanks to the Termignoni Exhaust.

The 2020 Ducati Scrambler Club Italia receives plenty of physical tweaks for this limited edition. For starters, you’ll notice the new metallic blue fuel tank right away. Then there are the blacked-out wheels and the specially embroidered red leather seat by Poltrona Frau.

If you look closely, you’ll notice the Giugiaro-designed Ducati logo, tri-colour finished fenders, aluminium parts of the tank cap, fluid reservoir covers and the red-coloured frame sliders which look like the cherry on top of the icing.

Ducati has also claimed that they will donate 500 Euros to a hospital in Bologna for every bike sold. This is to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. Kudos to Ducati for this brilliant initiative.

If all this isn’t enough for you to drool over this motorcycle, each motorcycle also comes with a personalised cover, a certificate of authenticity and a hand-crafted Bell helmet that matches the appearance of the motorcycle.

Ducati has further stated that they will limit this motorcycle for Scuderia Club Italia members only, for now. Not surprising, as the last time Ducati collaborated with the club, they produced only 36 special edition motorcycles. Best of luck from us if you plan on buying one in India.
