2020 Honda CB1000R Revealed At EICMA

Honda has revealed the new CB1000R that comes with some updates

Honda has revealed the 2020 CB1000R at the ongoing EICMA and the motorcycle comes with few changes. It gets a new Metallic Matte Black headlamp surround, a silver racing stripe on the fuel tank, updated colours on the rear spring and front discs and a new Matte Pearl Glare White shade which is available in addition to the Graphite Black and Candy Chromosphere black colours.

It comes powered by a 998cc, inline-4 engine which produces 16% more power and 5% more torque. 143.4 HP comes up at 10,500 RPM while 104 Nm comes up at 8250 RPM. The Throttle-By-Wire offers 3 modes (Rain, Standard and Sport) and a USER setting which gives access to Power, Engine Brake and Honda Selectable Torque Control. A quick shifter is offered as an optional extra.

This motorcycle gets Showa SFF-BP at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are done by 310 mm double discs upfront and 256 mm single rotor at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard.

Honda is also offering the CB1000R+ which comes with factory-fitted accessories like a flyscreen with aluminium inlays, quick shifter, heated grips, single-seat cowl with aluminium inserts, aluminium rear hugger panels, aluminium front fender panels and radiator grille with CB1000R logo.
