2020 KTM RC 200 To Get New Colour Option, Launch Soon

This new paint scheme is opposite to that of the existing black colour option

KTM seems to have realised that its RC 200 needs more colours in order to appeal to a broader set of buyers come this festive season.

When it was launched earlier this year, buyers could choose the sporty little motorcycle in any colour option as long as it was black with orange wheels.

The new paint option is the polar opposite of the existing colour because where there was black there is orange now. Thus, apart from the tank and the fairing which come in orange, the frame too is painted in orange.

Graphics present on the bike come in black and while instead of the black with orange theme and the wheel rims are in black as well. The front mud guard, however, comes in part orange and part black.

Addition of one more option to the official KTM RC 200 colours list, we reckon, would appeal to more buyers and especially to those who might have postponed their purchase having decided not to buy the motorcycle with the black paint scheme.

It is not known if KTM will be asking more for the new colour scheme. But what we do know is that dealership dispatches have already begun, meaning launch of the new paint option can be expected rather soon.

That aside, no other changes are expected on the mechanical front. So, the 2020 KTM RC 200 will continue to be powered by a 199cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that puts out 25.5 BHP and 19.5 Nm which is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
