The new generation Classic has been spied in India

Royal Enfield is gearing up for new changes in their lineup. The Indian motorcycle maker is taking the BS6 transition to the next level with introducing not only updated engines but also new generation bikes along with it.

We recently saw the spy shots of the new generation Thunderbird. Now the new generation Classic has been revealed that comes with new features, styling and mechanical changes.

The 2020 RE Classic comes with new body panels to make it look more retro such as the cylindrical tail lamp and new grab rail along with other body panels with a dose of chrome.

There is a new round shaped instrument cluster with analogue speedometer and tachometer along with a small digital display. There are new handle bar grips with chrome tips.

The seats have been updated for better cushioning for both the rider and the pillion. The most substantial change is the new BS6 compliant engine that is likely to have a larger displacement than the previous 346cc engine.

The disc brake setup at the rear has been shifted to the right side. Also, the gas charged rear shocks are replaced by conventional units.

The new Royal Enfield Classic will get a double cradle frame. It is expected to be launched in early 2020. The pricing will be increased by Rs. 10-15,000/- over the existing Classic.
