2021 Jawa Forty Two Launched, Priced At Rs. 1.84 Lakh

The firm has improved various aspects of the bike

Classic Legends has launched the 2021 Jawa Forty Two with an asking price of Rs. 1,83,942/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Having updated the retro-inspired motorcycle for the 2021 model year, its maker says this marks the arrival of Jawa 2.1.

Now, the bike’s colour palette includes 3 new shades namely – AllStar Black, Orion Red and Sirius White. Now, a grey stripe runs across the length of the motorcycle and has the number 42 picked out on the tank.

In addition, all the mechanical parts have been blacked out, be it the engine, suspension or the exhaust pipes. Now, the 2021 Jawa Forty Two price also includes 13-spoke black alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres.

In addition, Classic Legends has also equipped the bike with a trip meter as standard, while the seat is also said to be improved.

Classic Legends claims to have fine-tuned the engine to eke out more performance. Now, the 293cc motor puts out a maximum of 27.33 PS and 27.02 Nm peak torque.

It features a repositioned lambda sensor, the throttle response is claimed to be crisper, while the manufacturer says riders would feel a noticeable punch in the mid range.

Further, the motorcycle’s exhaust note has been deepened claims Classic Legends, while the suspension and frame setup have also been retuned to result in better ground clearance. However, the braking hardware has not been touched.

As accessories, customers can now also choose a tinted flyscreen and headlamp grille, along with new custom-made saddlebags.

The technological updates will be available throughout the Jawa and Forty Two range. Also, the new alloy wheels will be sold separately at dealerships for existing customers to buy.
