2022 Mahindra Scorpio Interior Spied, Gets Electric Sunroof

The new generation Scorpio’s interior will please many by the looks of things

The spied interior images of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio reveal the updated design of the cabin

The interior of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio has been spied and the images reveal that the automaker will equip the SUV with an electric sunroof, touchscreen, among other features.

Mahindra has been working on the new generation Scorpio for quite some time now. As a result, the internet is awash with exterior images of the car that have continually poured in over the months.

Now, some interior images of the vehicle have surfaced online and they disclose the design of the new Scorpio’s dashboard, among other things.

Unlike the current model’s interior, Mahindra has designed the cabin of the 2022 Scorpio rather well. It comes with a multifunction steering wheel with metallic accents, a touchscreen, new switchgear, and a revised centre console.

Unlike its predecessor, the new Scorpio will be equipped with lots of features

Of course the seats are different as well and they are upholstered in a tan-coloured material. The recently spied 2022 Mahindra Scorpio was also equipped with an electric sunroof and roof-mounted speakers.

Apart from these features, the new Scorpio will get 2-zone climate control, cruise control, smartphone connectivity and should feature a wireless device charger, multi-drive modes, among others, as well.

There will be both petrol (2.0-litre turbo) and diesel (2.2-litre) engines on offer with the SUV and customers will be given the choice to choose between a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.

Mahindra is expected to offer 4-wheel drive at least in top-spec variants of the 2022 Scorpio which should command quite a premium over its predecessor when it is launched later this year (due to semiconductor shortage, Mahindra had earlier deferred the launch of the car).
