2023 Honda City Launched, Priced From Rs. 11.49 Lakhs

Updated with mild cosmetic changes and new features

2023 Honda City facelift is here with cosmetic tweaks and new features, price revealed

2023 Honda City launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 11.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). There are new entry-level trims on offer – SV for the regular petrol model and V for the hybrid model.

While it looks more or less the same, there are mild tweaks to the exterior, no significant changes. The sedan now comes with a revised grille, new front and rear bumpers along with newly designed alloy wheels.

There are 6 colour options including a new Obsidian Blue Pearl. Other than this, it continues to come with Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.

Sadly, Honda has discontinued the diesel engine option. Now, it only comes with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol motor and the 1.5-litre strong hybrid powertrain. Both the engines are now BS-6 RDE compliant on E5 fuel and E20 material compatible.

While the hybrid version already came with Honda Sensing ADAS tech, the regular City petrol facelift now gets the same technology along with a couple of new features.

The updated Honda Sensing system gets:

Some of the new features include Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Improved Infotainment System with new background & colours, Remote control operation via Smart Phone Application, Improved Rear Camera, Wireless Charger, Rain Sensing Auto Wiper, Ambient Lighting, etc.
