2023 Hyundai Venue Facelift Launched, Priced From Rs. 7.53 Lakhs

The parametric jewel grille at the front is the latest addition

2023 Hyundai Venue price goes up to Rs. 10 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the diesel S+ variant, all the prices are introductory

Hyundai India has launched the much-awaited 2023 Venue facelift for a starting price of Rs. (ex-showroom). Giving the compact SUV, a new tag line, ‘Live the Lit life’, the Korean maker said the car has been crafted to supersede the aspirations of new age Indian customers.

Developed inspired from the brand’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language, the new Venue focusses more on space and bold exterior this time.

The biggest change is the front grille that has been completely redesigned. The chain-like overlapping checked chrome design of the outgoing model has been replaced with dark chrome rectangular blocks. Hyundai calls it parametric jewel grille.

The interiors get a lot of segment-first features

The bumpers have been changed too. They now sport less-busy styling. However, the bottom grille sports the simple checked design from the existing model. Even the brushed silver skid plates have been retained.

The split headlamp setup has been retained from the existing SUV. The units get the same projectors in circular housings. The LED drls are, again, fused with the grille.

On the sides, the alloy wheels have been completely redesigned. They now sport a spoke design as against the L-shaped design of the existing SUV. Other than this the styling almost remains the same.

At the rear, the square shaped tail lights have been replaced with sleek units that are now interconnected via the tail gate. Hyundai claims it to be first in the segment and calls it H lamp. At the bottom, the bumper looks exactly like the front with little detailing.

The car is equipped with drive mode select with the choice of Normal, Eco, and Sport modes

There are not many changes to the interiors as most of the elements have been carried forward from the outgoing model.

The key feature of the all-new Venue is the unique Home to car (H2C) system with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant that helps control many aspects of the car from right from home with voice support for English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Oriya.

Customers can check vehicle status, find-my-car status, tyre pressure, fuel level, speed level, idle time, and remotely operate climate control, door lock/ unlock, time fencing, etc. There are also more than 60 Bluelink connected features on offer, many segment-firsts.

The car is equipped with drive mode select with the choice of Normal, Eco, and Sport modes. The rear seat passengers get a first-in-the-segment 2-step rear reclining seat with the flexibility of choosing an ideal seating posture.

The connected LED tail lamps are first in the segment

The new Hyundai Venue also features an acoustic sound feature with ‘Sounds of Nature’ which is, again, first-in-the-segment offering customers a serene driving experience.

The compact SUV is available in 5 variants across multiple powertrain options. It comes in 7 shades – Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and dual-tone Fiery Red with Black roof. There are 47 accessories on offer.

Under the hood the, compact SUV will carry forward the same engines in the same states of tune. Even the variants have been nearly retained. But, prices have been increased owing to the new features on offer.

Hyundai is offering 3-year unlimited-km basic warranty and roadside assistance with an optional 7-year extended warranty too. The company is offering a 3-year subscription for the Bluelink connected features.

The rear bumper gets minimalistic styling

The new Hyundai Venue lands in a heavily crowded segment currently dominated by Tata Nexon. Other than the Tata, it competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Punch, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Toyota Urban Cruiser, etc.
