The 2023 Norton V4SV gets a price tag of 44,000 GBP (Rs. 41.61 lakhs), gets a lot of carbon fibre parts

TVS-owned British manufacturer, Norton Motorcycles, has launched the 2023 V4SV superbike for a price tag of 44,000 GBP (Rs. 41.61 lakhs) for the British market.

According to Norton, the superbike has been re-engineered this time and remains as the only British designed and built superbike in production in the UK. The company said it will prioritise the deposit orders placed before TVS acquired the company in April 2020.

The brand, which has 100 years of racing prowess and success at the Isle of Man TT, will manufacture the V4SV at its recently-opened factory in Solihull, Birmingham. There will be 2 colours on offer – Carbon and Manx Silver.

The superbike gets a lot of carbon fibre parts

The Manx Silver option is finished in striking silver bodywork with red and carbon pinstripes, a black front number board, and red OZ Racing forged aluminium wheels. The Carbon option gets exposed carbon fibre body work and carbon fibre BST wheels for reduced weight.

However, both the colours feature carbon fibre fuel tank and body work, a TIG-welded aluminium tube frame handcrafted and polished to a mirror finish, and a Union Jack on the tail of the motorcycle.

The engine puts out 185 HP

The superbike is powered by a liquid-cooled 1200 cc, 72-degree V4 engine that exerts 185 HP at 12,500 RPM and 125 Nm at 9000 RPM. The frame is made of aerospace-grade aluminium refined at the Isle of Man TT.

A full quick shift and auto blipper system, adjustable front and rear suspension, Brembo disc brakes, a sophisticated lean-angle sensitive traction-control, and 3 engine modes (wet, road and sport) are offered on this British motorcycle.

As standard, the Norton V4SV is fitted with LED lighting for low beam, high beam, indicators, and tail light, alongside a keyless ignition system.

The cockpit gets 6-inch TFT display

Further the superbike gets a full-colour 6-inch TFT display which includes a rear view camera functionality and an under-seat carbon fibre 15-litre fuel tank with Kevlar reinforcement.
