BMW India has reintroduced the X6 coupe-SUV to its domestic lineup with the launch of the 2026 X6 M60i xDrive. Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the performance-oriented SUV is priced at Rs. 1.78 crore (ex-showroom) and is offered in a single fully loaded variant.
Powering the X6 M60i is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The powertrain develops 530 HP and 750 Nm of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The SUV also benefits from rear-wheel steering, adaptive suspension and an M Sport differential to enhance driving dynamics.
BMW claims the X6 M60i can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 4.3 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/hr. With its 530 HP output, the X6 M60i becomes one of the most powerful offerings in its segment. The claimed fuel efficiency stands at 7.89 km/l.
The latest X6 retains its distinctive coupe-SUV styling with a sloping roofline and muscular proportions. Exterior highlights include adaptive LED headlamps, an illuminated black kidney grille, large air intakes, 21-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, M-specific red brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. BMW is offering the SUV in six standard paint finishes, while customers can also opt for BMW Individual exterior colours.
Inside, the cabin receives several M-specific design elements, including an M leather steering wheel, illuminated dashboard trim, tri-colour M seatbelt stitching and branded door sills. Buyers can choose from multiple upholstery colour options, while features such as an Alcantara headliner and glass-finish controls are available through the options list.
The equipment list includes BMW’s curved display setup with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated electrically adjustable front seats, wireless charging, a head-up display, ambient lighting, connected car technology, dual-zone climate control and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. A massage function for the front seats is offered as an optional upgrade.
On the safety front, the X6 M60i comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, reverse parking assistant and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
