2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Launched, Priced At Rs. 19.49 Lakh

2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Launched In India, More Expensive With Slightly Reduced Performance

Kawasaki launched the 2026 Ninja ZX-10R in India at Rs. 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This reflects a price increase of Rs. 99,000 compared to the 2025 model. Notably, the new bike has also slightly reduced in performance numbers.

Interestingly, the official website continues to list the 2025 Ninja ZX-10R alongside the 2026 version. This appears to be a strategy to clear out the older stock. The pricing difference could encourage buyers to choose the 2025 model instead.

Engine

The 2026 ZX-10R produces 193.1 hp and 112 Nm of torque, which is lower than the older version. The drop in performance is around 7 hp and 2.9 Nm compared to the 2025 model. Kawasaki has not yet provided clarity on this downgrade.

The 2025 version also offers slightly better performance figures compared to the new one. Additionally, the 2025 version offers an attractive discount of up to Rs. 1.50 lakh. This offer is valid until 30 September 2025 or until stocks last.

Suspension & Braking

On the hardware side, the bike retains Showa BFF front forks and a Showa BFRC rear monoshock suspension setup. Braking is handled by dual 330mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc. Kawasaki has also equipped an Ohlins electronic steering damper for improved stability.

Features

In terms of features, the 2026 ZX-10R provides a TFT console with smartphone connectivity and multiple riding modes. It also includes cruise control, dual-channel ABS, launch control, engine brake control, and traction control. These features make it a well-equipped superbike in its class.
