2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Launch On July 23

Maruti Suzuki is set to introduce the updated Brezza in India on July 23, marking the first major refresh for the second generation compact SUV since its launch in 2022. The facelift is expected to bring cosmetic revisions, additional features and an all-new turbo-petrol engine option while retaining the existing naturally aspirated powertrain.

The exterior updates are likely to be subtle, with minor changes to the front fascia, redesigned alloy wheels and the introduction of new paint schemes. Rather than a comprehensive redesign, the facelift will focus on keeping the Brezza visually fresh while maintaining its familiar styling.

Inside the cabin, Maruti Suzuki is expected to enhance the feature list to strengthen the Brezza’s position in the competitive compact SUV segment. Ventilated front seats are likely to be among the notable additions, along with other equipment upgrades aimed at improving comfort and convenience.

The biggest mechanical update is expected to be the introduction of a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, offering buyers an alternative to the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit. If introduced, it will be the first time the Brezza is offered with two petrol engine choices since the model’s debut.

The CNG variant is also expected to receive an important update by adopting Maruti Suzuki’s new underbody CNG tank layout. This configuration is designed to improve luggage capacity compared to the current boot-mounted cylinder setup.

Prices are likely to increase with the facelift. While the current Brezza is priced between Rs. 8.26 lakhs and Rs. 13.01 lakhs (ex-showroom), the updated model is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 8.50 lakhs to Rs. 13.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Once launched, the refreshed Brezza will continue to compete in the highly contested subcompact SUV segment against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Skoda Kylaq.
