Aprilia SR-GR Replica 175 Launched, Features The Brand’s MotoGP Bike Design Cues Ridden By Jorge Martin & Marco Bezzecchi
Aprilia has launched the new SR-GP Replica 175 scooter in India at Rs. 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). It costs around Rs. 3000 more than the standard SR 175. MotoGP-inspired cosmetic enhancements characterise this new version primarily.
Styling
The SR-GP Replica takes inspiration from Aprilia’s MotoGP motorcycle ridden by Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi. Matte black panels with striking red and purple graphics are featured. Sportiness is added by sponsor logos and a red rim stripe.
Engine
A 174.7cc, single-cylinder engine produces 13.08 HP and 14.14 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a CVT automatic. The performance remains identical to that of the standard SR 175.
Features
A new 5.5-inch colour TFT display, similar to Aprilia 457 twins, is part of the feature updates. The screen offers Bluetooth connectivity and improved visibility. LED lighting and a USB charging port are also retained by the scooter.
Brakes & Suspension
Telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, and 14-inch alloy wheels constitute the hardware setup. A 220mm front disc handles the braking. Safety is ensured by a rear drum brake and single-channel ABS.
