The asking price of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 differ by Rs. 2000/-

Bajaj Auto has introduced the Pulsar N250 naked bike with a price of Rs. 1.38 lakh and the F250 semi-faired motorcycle at Rs. 1.40 lakh (prices are ex-showroom, Delhi), today in India.

Built on an all-new chassis, both motorcycles feature Bajaj Auto’s new design language, which still takes some inspiration from the Pulsars of old.

Both bikes have 165 mm of ground clearance, a wheelbase of 1351 mm and 795 mm seat height

Offered in Racing Red and Techno Grey colour choices, both the Pulsar N250 and F250 feature bi-functional LED projector headlamp.

The naked bike gets simpler pilot lamps, while its semi-faired sibling has boomerang-shaped DRLs. Both feature wide handlebars, muscular fuel tank (14-litres capacity), split seat, LED tail lights and a stubby exhaust canister.

The N250 weighs 2 kg lesser than the F250

Do note that this styling will be carried over to the new generation of Pulsars which will be rolled out in the next 12 months. The old and much-loved styling will not be seen again.

They also come with a USB port and a new semi-digital instrument cluster displaying many details including real time fuel efficiency, remaining range, gear position and clock.

They feature single channel ABS

Powering the bikes is a 249.07cc, fuel-injected, oil-cooled, single cylinder engine that puts out 24.5 PS at 8750 RPM and 21.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. It is teamed to a 5-speed transmission and boasts an assist and slipper clutch too.

While 37 mm telescopic front fork and rear monoshock with Nitrox take care of suspension duties, stopping power comes from 300 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc with single channel ABS.

These models should be soon available for delivery

Riding on 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels wrapped with 100/80-section front and 130/70-section rear rubber, the N250 weighs 162 kg, while the F250 weighs a bit more at 164 kg.
