BMW F 450 GS Patent Images Leaked, Reveals Key Styling Details
BMW unveiled the F 450 GS Concept at EICMA 2024 and later showcased it at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Since then, the adventure tourer has been spotted testing several times on international roads. Recently leaked patent images now reveal the production-ready design of the upcoming motorcycle.
Some minor tweaks improve the capability and real-world functionality of the BMW F 450 GS while retaining its concept design. These subtle changes enhance practicality without compromising the aggressive styling. The production version closely mirrors the aesthetics of the larger BMW R 1300 GS.
Styling
Patent images reveal a twin-barrel LED headlight, sharp front beak, large windscreen, and extended radiator shrouds. These elements give the F 450 GS an assertive, off-road-ready appearance. The design emphasises both adventure-focused styling and aerodynamic efficiency.
A split seat, mid-mounted foot pegs, and adjustable levers in the rear section shall enhance rider comfort. The exposed subframe from the concept model is no longer present.
Engine
The BMW F 450 GS will be powered by a 450cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine will pair with a 6-speed automatic gearbox for effortless touring. We expect the motor to produce around 48 HP and 45 NM of torque.
Features
Although the full list remains unconfirmed, the bike may offer several premium features for touring. These may include a colored TFT panel, LED lighting, ride modes, cruise control, and traction control. It could also feature the rotary-style dial seen on the R 1300 GS.
