BMW G310R Price Predicted As Pre-Booking Starts In Malaysia

2016 TVS BMW G310R Specifications

The much awaited BMW G310R seems to have gone on pre-booking in Malaysia as per a listing on a local online classified website.

The online classified shows the price as RM 25,000 (Rs. 4.1 lakhs)

BMW has been a name associated with high capacity motorcycles with quality being second to none. Since the time the news of an entry level bike from the house of the German bikemaker came out, the excitement levels across various markets hit a new high, especially in the Indian and South-East Asian markets.

BMW unveiled the bike towards the end of 2015 and the wait for the G310R has only risen since then. At the 2016 Auto Expo, the motorcycle was displayed and it drew a huge crowd towards itself. The only thing unknown about the entry-level street-naked is the price but a listing in local classifieds in Malaysia hints at a tentative price.

An online classified website in Malaysia is carrying a listing for pre-booking the BMW G310R by putting down RM 300 (Rs. 4900/-) and it puts down the price of the bike as RM 25,000 (Rs. 4.1 lakhs). If the pricing information is correct, we can expect the motorcycle to cost a lot lesser in the Indian market given that it would be made in India and exported elsewhere. Expect the BMW G310R to be priced in India at around Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

Being made in India by TVS, it is expected to be priced around Rs. 2.5 lakhs (ex-showroom) which would make it a good proposition. The BMW name attached to the motorbike will attract a lot of customers as Indians are known to be brand freaks. Featuring top notch hardware and a potent 313cc engine producing 34 BHP of power and 28 Nm of torque, it will perform well too.
