BMW Motorrad launches limited edition G 310 RR with cosmetic updates only
BMW Motorrad has rolled out a special edition of its entry-level supersport motorcycle, the G 310 RR, to mark the achievement of crossing 10,000 unit sales in India. Priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), this limited edition commands a premium of around Rs. 18,000 over the standard variant.
The changes in this edition are largely cosmetic, with no alterations to the mechanical setup. The motorcycle is offered in two distinctive shades – black and white, both featuring bold red and blue graphics that stretch across the fairing, fuel tank and front fender. Wheel rim tapes further enhance its sporty appeal, while a special ‘1/310’ insignia highlights the exclusivity of the model.
Underneath the visual upgrades, the bike remains identical to the standard G 310 RR. It is powered by a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 34 BHP and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tyres (110/70 front, 150/60 rear). Suspension duties are managed by USD telescopic forks at the front and a rear monoshock, while braking comes from a disc setup at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Other equipment includes a fully digital instrument console, LED lighting all around, and multiple riding modes. The bike has a kerb weight of 174 kg and comes with an 11-litre fuel tank. Availability is limited and customers can purchase the motorcycle through BMW Motorrad dealerships across India.
