BMW X5 Facelift Launched In India, Priced From Rs. 93.90 Lakhs

BMW X5 facelift arrives in India, locally assembled with CKD kits

BMW X5 facelift launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 93.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available in both petrol and diesel engine options having two variants each.

The exterior of the SUV has been updated with new headlights, tail lights, grille, alloys and bumpers. It now looks more fresh, sharp and in line with the latest design DNA of BMW. It is available in these colour choices – Brooklyn Grey, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Tanzanite Blue and Black Sapphire.

The German luxury carmaker has updated the interior with more premium touches and added more tech. It is available with BMW Individual extended leather trim ‘Merino’ upholstery with these combos – Tartufo | Black and Ivory White | Black on the M Sport variant. The xLine variant features perforated Sensafin upholstery with Décor stitching and Cognac shade as standard.

The dashboard gets a 14.9-inch curved display for the infotainment system while the all-digital cluster is a 12.3-inch unit. BMW has added ambient light bar on the dashboard with crystalline surface structure and LED backlight.

Powering the updated X5 is 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol motor produces 381 HP and 520 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 5.4 seconds. The diesel engine produces 286 HP and 650 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 6.1 seconds. Both the engines are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission that channels the power to all four wheels.
