DC Avanti Complete Specifications & Features Revealed, No Airbags

The DC Avanti is all set to hit the showrooms on 15th of April and is the most affordable two-seater sports car you can buy in India with a host of customisation options.

The Avanti is propelled by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 250 BHP and 340 Nm

After a whole lot of patience testing, DC Design will finally launch the Avanti sports car in India on 15th April at a price of Rs. 35 lakhs (ex-showroom). With the first batch of 500 units reportedly sold out, the two-door, mid-engined sports car is a one-of-its-kind offering in India that has surely appealed to quite a few. With the launch just days away and DC’s extensive testing finally over, here is what you need to know about the production ready 2015 Avanti.

In addition to the aforementioned features, DC is giving a host of customisation options especially for the exterior paint and interior upholstery along with personalised soft luggage available on order. The Avanti, however, does not get airbags even as an optional feature which surely is disappointing for a ‘sports car’. The Pune-based manufacturer is currently commanding a booking amount of Rs. 15 lakhs to get the sports car rolling on the factory floor.
