Facelifted Tata Tiago, Tigor, Nexon Revealed

The BS6-compliant products sport refreshed design, features, and price.

As of now, Tata Nexon prices start at Rs. 6.7 lakhs, ex-showroom

Prepared for the upcoming BS6 emission onslaught, Tata Motors has commenced bookings of the BS6-compliant Tiago, Tigor and the Nexon. The new range of products will sport revamped designs with some new features and is set to be priced higher than their predecessors.

Tata’s BS6 products can be booked against a token amount of Rs. 11,000/- from the company’s dealerships and even from the respective product websites. The brand plans to roll them out for sale as early as the end of January.

The three refreshed models all feature Tata’s new Impact Design 2.0 language. While the design of the Tata Nexon facelift seems similar to that of the Nexon EV, the facelifted Tiago and Tigor with a chrome-lined grille and a raised bonnet, give Altroz-vibes. Both the Tiago and Tigor sport redesigned headlights, a new grille incorporating several Y-shaped elements and the Tigor facelift also sports LED DRLs mounted in the front bumper.

The Tata Nexon facelift continues with both its 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. Although no diesel alternative will be offered with the Tiago and Tiago, their current 1.2-litre petrol engine has been upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms.

Talking about price, it is expected that the Tata Nexon petrol will cost around Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 80,000/- more than its predecessor. The compact SUV’s diesel sibling might cost even more.
