Fiat Panda & Punto Young Editions Launched In Italy

Catering to the young and vibrant market of Italy, Fiat has introduced new ‘Young’ special edition models of the Panda and Punto hatchbacks in the country. Both the models get distinctive features to make them look hip, happening and a lot more appealing. Fiat has also incorporated some essential features that are very much needed for young drivers as part of the Young special edition. The standard features on both the models include the ‘My Stream Radio Clarion’ that allows smartphone integration to play your favourite music, ESC, air-con, Hill Holder System and the in vogue fluorescent paint scheme.

For the Fiat Panda, the Young edition adds the side and rear body decals with the ‘young’ logo; ORVMs and wheel covers done up in matte grey, while the hubcaps are painted in fluorescent yellow. Matching the exterior theme, the interiors get an enhancement with the yellow contrast stitching and the young logo. Buyers also get to opt for an optional ColourYou pack that includes roof and ORVMs painted in black along with tinted rear windows.

With the addition of the Young Pack, there are a total number of 5 special edition Panda’s now on offer in Italy. Fiat already offers the Pop, Easy, Lounge and Trekking special editions of the hatchback. Buyers get to choose from five engine options including the new 0.9-litre, 2-cylinder, Twin-Air, petrol producing 85 HP and the 1.3-litre, 16V Multijet II diesel producing 75 HP; along with LPG and bi-fuel options. The Panda is also available in a 4×4 variant. The young pack is available for buyers with the entire engine range as well as the five body colour options available on the palette.

On the Fiat Punto, the Young edition adds matte grey ORVMs, glossy black headlight contour and the Young badge on the front fenders. On the inside, you get yellow stitching and the Young logo on the headrests. Fiat is also offering the optional Young Style pack that adds 15-inch black diamond polished alloy wheels, tinted rear windows and front fog lamps. The Punto is internationally available in 3-door and 5-door options. Buyers get to choose from seven engine options on the Punto with the bi-fuel EasyPower 1.4-litre engine producing 76 HP, the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine that produces 85 HP, and the 0.9-litre TwinAir turbo petrol engine with 105 HP on tap among others.

The Young Pack will go on sale for the both the cars starting from 2nd April across all Fiat dealerships in Italy. The Punto and Panda Young editions have been launched at a special introductory price of $13,725 (Rs. 8.25 lakhs) till 30th April. From 1st May onwards, the Panda Young will cost buyers $15,670 (Rs. 9.42 lakhs), while the Punto Young is priced from $17,532 (Rs. 10.53 lakhs).
