Force Trax BS6 Spotted On Test In Leh

Force Motors is testing the BS6 version of the Trax that will be launched in India soon.

The Trax will get restyled headlamps and a tweaked bumper

Ahead of the upcoming BS6 emission norms, manufacturers are busy testing BS6 versions of their vehicles and since this rule will be applied to commercial vehicles too, Force Motors has been testing the Trax BS6.

The Force Trax BS6 was spotted undergoing testing in Leh. The vehicle is likely being tested in such extreme conditions to check the cold start levels of the diesel engine. Parts of the vehicle have been camouflaged which means that it is going to get minor cosmetic tweaks too.

The updated Force Trax will come with changes to the headlights, grille, front bumper and body cladding. The rear lights will also come with some tweaks. It is unclear whether the Trax will come with the same engine in an updated avatar or a new engine. Force does have support from Bosch because they’re partners since a long time.

The current engine powering the Force Trax is a 2.0-litre unit churning out 67 HP and 175 Nm. The automaker recently updated the Gurkha with a new 2.2-litre diesel engine in the Xtreme variant.
