I want to buy the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI. However, there is news that Polo’s TSI dual-clutch transmission is being discontinued and instead it will now come with a torque converter. Will the torque converter be as responsive as the current TSI? If I buy the current Polo with the DSG, what possible issues can arise regarding service, maintenance, etc? I have heard that DSG is very unreliable and that its maintenance is also very expensive.
So, should I wait for the Polo TSI BS6 or should I go with the current if I get a good deal? Can you also suggest if there is any other better alternative in this price range?
