Hero Glamour 125 Spotted Testing Ahead Of Launch, Features Cruise Control
Hero MotoCorp was spotted testing the Glamour 125. Despite the covered bodywork, the exposed switchgear revealed some interesting new features. Notably, a cruise control button was seen on the right-side switchgear, just below the ignition button.
Cruise Control
Cruise control on a 125cc motorcycle is unusual since these bikes are mostly used in urban settings at lower speeds. However, it can offer convenience during highway rides and serve as a unique selling point. Hero might be testing this feature before adding it to larger bikes like the Xpulse 210 or Maverick 440.
New Instrument Cluster
The test mule also featured a new LCD instrument cluster, possibly the same unit used in the Karizma XMR and Xtreme 250R. The screen is Bluetooth-enabled and supports turn-by-turn navigation along with SMS and call alerts. Additionally, a USB charging port is positioned just below the display for added practicality.
Styling Changes
The heavy camouflage likely hides a redesigned body, hinting at a major visual overhaul for the upcoming Glamour 125. However, the engine and mechanical setup are expected to remain unchanged. Hero seems focused on enhancing features rather than altering the core hardware.
Expected Pricing
Currently, the Glamour is sold in standard and Xtec trims, priced at Rs. 87,000 and Rs. 90,498 respectively (ex-showroom). The updated model can arrive during the festive season with a slight price increase. This refreshed version could strengthen Glamour’s appeal in the 125cc commuter segment.
