Hero Mavrick 440 Spotted Testing, Will Utilise USD Forks
Hero MotoCorp appears ready to bring back its Mavrick 440 motorcycle. Weak sales led to the discontinuation of the model earlier. A recent image leak indicates an updated version could launch in India soon.
Suspension Changes
The leaked image reveals that the Mavrick 440 now has USD front suspension with golden fork tubes. Hero MotoCorp first showcased this updated variant at EICMA 2024. Experts expect the new suspension setup to enhance handling and ride comfort.
Additional Changes
The motorcycle additionally features new graphics on the fuel tank and a light golden shade on the engine cover. These subtle design updates add a premium appeal to the motorcycle. Hero MotoCorp may also introduce a new instrument cluster, although it isn’t visible in the image.
Engine
Mechanically, the Mavrick 440 will remain unchanged. It continues to use the 440cc air-cooled engine producing 27 HP and 36 Nm of torque. The motor pairs with a smooth six-speed gearbox.
Outlook
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the updated Mavrick 440 in the coming weeks. The addition of new features is expected to improve the overall appeal. The brand is likely to implement a marginal price increase over the outgoing model.
