Hero’s Upcoming Scooter Spied, Might Rival TVS Ntorq And Suzuki Avenis

There are a lot of cuts and creases for a sporty look

The upcoming scooter from Hero could be a sporty moto scooter targeting the TVS Ntorq, Suzuki Avenis, and Yamaha Rayzr

It looks like Hero MotoCorp is readying its first moto scooter against the likes of the TVS Ntorq, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha Rayzr, and Honda Dio. A test mule of the scooter has been spied camouflaged for the first time.

The test mule sports a front panel mounted LED headlamp like the other moto scooters in the country. Further, it gets a sharp design language nothing like a Hero scooter launched so far. The overall profile also looks slim like how a moto scooter should look.

The side panels have a lot of cuts, creases, and recesses for a sporty look. The seat is small and angular while the floor board has a lot of room. The rear features a sleek grab rail and the tail lamp gets an X-shaped design.

The instrument cluster has been borrowed from Hero’s existing scooters

The exhaust is large and chunky. It looks nothing like the existing Hero scooters’ units. However, the instrument panel has been carried forward from the existing Hero scooters. Even the switches are the usual ones seen.

The alloy pattern looks different and sports 5 straight spokes unlike the curved ones seen on the existing scooters. The upcoming sporty scooter is likely to be powered by Hero’s 125 cc engine that exerts 9 HP and 10.4 Nm.

Though the engine is not as performance oriented as the TVS Ntorq and Suzuki Avenis, it should suffice the needs of most buyers who are looking for a sporty scooter from the country’s largest 2-wheeler manufacturer.

The rear X-shaped tail lamp looks cool

The launch might happen during the festive season. Interestingly, Hero is also gearing up to launch its first electric scooter under its Vida brand. It will also be launched during the upcoming festive season.
