Hero Xtreme 160R Unveiled At A Dealer Event, Featuring Sportier Graphics
Hero has unveiled the 2025 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. This recently happened at a dealer event. The brand has decided to focus on the Xtreme lineup after the launch of the Glamour X.
We expect the new update to refresh the motorcycle’s appeal and boost sales. Hero surprised everyone earlier with cruise control on the Glamour X. That feature now finds its way into the Xtreme 160R 4V.
Design Changes
Unveiled at the event, the motorcycle brings a facelift while keeping its overall silhouette. The aggressive new fascia adds a sportier vibe. It continues targeting a younger audience with its bold design.
The fuel tank and shrouds remain the same but sport fresh graphics. The showcased top-spec Combat Edition includes all available features. These include cruise control, new LCD instrumentation, and updated switchgear.
Feature Additions
Hero MotoCorp sources the LCD unit from the Karizma XMR 210 and Xtreme 250R. The motorcycle supports Bluetooth, navigation, ABS mode display, and more. Experts also expect a Type-C USB port for improved convenience.
Riders can toggle cruise control via the right-side switchgear. Riders can activate the system, then adjust cruising speed as desired. This feature is unique in its segment and raises practicality.
Components remain unchanged, featuring USD forks, mono-shock, and dual disc brakes. Dual-channel ABS and panic braking continue for safety. The mechanical setup balances performance with reliability.
Engine
The same 163.2cc single-cylinder SOHC 4V engine powers the motorcycle. It produces 16.9 PS and 14.6 Nm of torque. The motor pairs with a five-speed gearbox.
Outlook
With these updates, Hero aims to strengthen its presence in the 160cc performance commuter space. The segment is highly competitive with bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 160 and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
