Honda Amaze gains new colour option and revised pricing under GST 2.0
Honda Cars India has introduced a new exterior paint option for the third-generation Amaze. The sedan is now available in Crystal Black Pearl, taking the total colour choices to seven. Other available shades include Lunar Silver, Meteoroid Grey, Platinum White, Golden Brown, Radiant Red and Obsidian Blue.
According to the company, the new paint finish has been added to cater to the increasing preference for darker and sportier shades among younger customers.
Mechanically, the Amaze remains unchanged. It continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The model retains its list of features such as LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, push-button start and automatic climate control.
On the safety front, the sedan comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. Higher trims also include advanced driver assistance features through Honda Sensing.
In addition, Honda has confirmed that it will pass on the benefits of GST 2.0 to its customers. As part of this revision, prices for the third-generation Amaze will drop by up to Rs. 95,000, while the second-generation version will see reductions of up to Rs. 72,800. The updated prices will come into effect from September 22.
