Honda Grom MSX125 Spotted In India

The Honda Grom MSX125 has been spotted testing for the first time in India.

When launched in India, the Honda Grom will have no direct rivals

The Honda Grom 125cc mini bike has been spied testing in India for the first time. The mini bike has been spotted in the vicinity of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh (the Honda Scoopy was spotted testing recently near the same location). The Honda Grom is also known as MSX125 in Europe and East Asian markets.

Honda had launched the Grom inspired scooter, the Navi in India back in 2016. The bike spotted has a grey and silver paint scheme. It also features upside down forks at the front, golden painted alloy wheels, disc brakes at both the ends and sporty looking tank extensions. The mini bike also features a luggage trunk box at the rear and a single-channel ABS (ABS ring seen in the front disc).

The Honda Grom is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine that produces 9.7 HP of power and 10.9 Nm of torque. This motor comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox. Honda has not revealed any launch plans for the Grom in India. However, Honda had announced that 2 new motorcycles would be launched this fiscal year. While the Honda Africa has already been launched, there are speculations that the Grom 125cc could be that second motorcycle. However, the CBR maker is yet to confirm this.
