Honda X-Blade BS6 is here and the price starts from Rs. 1.06 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It seems to be on the expensive side because when it was launched first in 2018, it was priced at Rs. 78,500/-.
With this update, the bike comes with mild visual tweaks and new features on offer along with the BS6 compliant engine.
The LED headlight and tail light remains the same. There are new graphics on offer to make the bike look fresh.
There’s an all-digital instrument cluster which shows Gear Position Indicator, Digital Clock & Service Due Indicator, which is not new but what’s new here is an engine kill switch.
The bike now gets front and rear petal disc brake options with single channel ABS as standard. It comes with 276 mm front disc and 220 mm rear disc. For the entry-level variant, it gets 130 mm rear drum brake.
The bike is powered by a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, fuel injected, BS6 engine producing 13.67 BHP at 8000 RPM and 14.7 Nm at 5500 RPM. This motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Power has gone down a little while there is more torque compared to BS4 engine.
The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 12-litres, seat height is 795 mm, seat length is 582 mm and ground clearance is 160 mm while the kerb weight is 144 kg.
