Hyundai Casper Interior Spied

Hyundai Casper Unveil
It is a strict 4-seater vehicle

There were 2-tone seats in the interior of the recently spied Hyundai Casper

We’ve seen the official exterior images of the Hyundai Casper. Now, its interior has been spied, and as a result, new details about the micro SUV have come to light.

The car that was spied (video linked below) had a white exterior colour and 2-tone interior seat upholstery. While the backrest comes in white, the cushion is covered in a blue-coloured material.

There is also a slim front armrest and cupholders in-between the front seats which have nice detailing like the Casper motif on the backrest along with blue and yellow border stitching.

As can be seen from the images, the micro SUV is a strict 4-seater and comes with 4 adjustable headrests overall. However, rear legroom (from the images at least) seems to be decent.

The car should be good for in-town usage

Unfortunately, the dashboard of the spied Hyundai Casper was completely covered. However, its door panels were not and they come with 4 horizontal indents each, door pulls with a metallic finish, along with brushed metal-effect trim piece below the side armrests.

On the exterior front, the Casper is quite a quirky and boxy vehicle with a compact footprint which should make it a good city runabout capable of handling the occasional crater that our roads love to throw at cars.

It comes with circular main lights and a unique set of rear lights, full body cladding, skid plates, roof rails and a set of alloy wheels that divide opinion. There is also a sporty-looking version that has a different grille and bumper up front.

It will rival the likes of the upcoming Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki Ignis

Expected to be launched in India in 2022, the Casper could make use of the Santro’s 1.1-litre (69 PS and 99 Nm) or the Grand i10 NIOS’ 1.2-litre (83 PS and 114 Nm) petrol engines.

The 1.0-litre turbo petrol (100 PS and 172 Nm) could also be made available, for all we know. But, transmission options should include a 5-speed manual and AMT.
