Hyundai Creta 7-Seater Spied On Test

A 7-seater version of the new Hyundai Creta has been spied for the first time.

Would you like to see the Creta 7-seater in India?

Hyundai recently launched the second generation Creta in India. This compact SUV got a lot of hype and anticipation ahead of its launch because of its popularity. It was speculated earlier that a 7-seater version of the Creta might be launched and now a test mule of the same has been spotted in South Korea.

The Hyundai Creta 7-seater version that has been spotted on test gets a longer rear overhang and possibly a longer wheelbase too, to accommodate the additional row of seats. The headlamps look similar to the standard version while the grille could get a mild redesign. The vehicle also has front parking sensors.

The new Hyundai Creta is a loaded car when it comes to features. It gets a long list of equipment and safety tech. In India, this vehicle is offered with three engine options – 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.4-litre turbo petrol. The engines are offered with a CVT, AT and DCT respectively while the first two engines also get a 6-speed MT.

The bigger version of the Hyundai Creta could be launched in overseas markets by the end of this year but it remains to be seen whether the automaker launches it in India or not. There is a possibility of Hyundai launching it here to slot it between the 5-seater Creta and the Tucson.
