Hyundai Creta N Line Spied Testing Undisguised

The front grille is large with a new design

Hyundai Creta N Line spied undisguised ahead of global unveil, gets styling revisions at the front and rear

Just days ago Hyundai teased the upcoming Creta N Line and now the sporty car has been spied testing undisguised. As per unconfirmed reports, the SUV will make its global debut this month and launch in India by this year itself.

As Hyundai is already on the verge of launching the Venue facelift and its N Line trim in India, the news about Creta N Line is expected to up the brand’s game further.

Coming to the looks of the spied test mule, at the front, its sports a much bigger grille than the existing Creta. The design looks like that of a chequered flag seen on the upcoming next generation Tucson. There’s bonnet lip finished in white on the grille.

The wheels have been retained from the existing model

The bumper has been redesigned with a lot of cuts and creases. At the sides, though not much has been changed, there are new pale coloured recesses on the matte black side claddings rendering a more sporty look. There are no roof rails.

There could be updates to the suspension and exhaust like what was done to the i20 N Line. Though the wheels look the same, the SUV might get N Line upholstery with red stitching, and aluminum paddles.

At the rear, there are subtle revisions to the bumper and the tail lights. The split tails lights have a new projection on the tail gate while the bumper gets a split design with quilted grille like design for a sporty stance. There’s a prominent shark-fin antenna and a dual-exhaust tip.

The car gets additional cuts and creases on the sides

While the Korean maker was already seen testing the car, this is the first time it has been spotted nearly undisguised. The launch could first take place in Brazil followed by other countries including India.

The upcoming Creta N Line won’t be a true-blooded N Line car. It will just have the traits of the i20 N Line launched early this year. It’s also not based on the facelifted Creta sold in the Indonesian markets but on the version sold here in India.

It must be noted that Hyundai recently launched the Creta Knight Edition. The car has some sporty bits like a new glossy black grille with red inserts, glossy black skid plates at the front and the rear, C-pillar garnish, side sill garnish, roof rails, ORVMs, and shark fin antenna.

The tail lights have been slightly redesigned

The Knight Edition also gets blackened tail lamp inserts, body-coloured door handles, dark chrome finish to the emblem, red front brake callipers, Knight Edition emblem at the rear, and dark metal coloured alloy wheels.
