Hyundai Venue Facelift Spotted For First Time

The Venue facelift will come with a long list of updates

The Hyundai Venue facelift will make its global debut in 2022.

Hyundai Venue facelift has been recently spotted in South Korea with some camouflage. However, the test mule reveals some of the new cosmetic changes that the compact SUV will get with its mid-cycle refresh.

The front profile will get a revised fascia including a new grille pattern which looks sharper than the current one with the ‘+’ pattern. The headlight setup looks similar but the DRLs have been reworked. You can also expect a new bumper design with this refresh.

The side profile of the test mule clearly reveals the new set of alloys that look more detailed than those on the current model. There is a new tail light setup with a sleeker design and we believe it is an all-LED unit.

The overall dimensions and the design will be unchanged, don’t expect major sheet metal changes. This update is in line with the recently teased Hyundai Creta that gets some cosmetic tweaks.

Along with these visual changes Hyundai might introduce a few more features and some minor tweaks inside the cabin.

Mechanically, there will be no changes in the facelifted Venue. It will continue to come with the same 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

The Venue was launched in India in 2019. This facelifted model is expected to go on sale in the global market by mid-2022. It is likely to hit the Indian markets later in 2022. It will compete with the same compact SUV gang including Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, etc.
