Jeep Compass Facelift And 7-Seater Details Revealed

The Jeep Compass will get a mid-life facelift next year and a 7-seater version is also coming.

The SUV will get slimmer headlamps, new fog lamp housings and tweaked bumpers

The Jeep Compass was launched in India in 2017. Jeep is working on a facelifted version of the SUV while a 7-seater model is also being developed. The automaker is also readying a new compact SUV for the Indian market. Jeep will first launch the Compass facelift here in 2021.

The Jeep Compass facelift will get changes to the front and rear. At the front, the vehicle will get slimmer headlamps, a redesigned bumper and new fog lamp housings. At the rear, the vehicle will get a tweaked bumper and redesigned lights. The SUV is also expected to get new wheels with the facelift.

On the inside, the Jeep Compass facelift will get a new design for the dashboard and it’ll also include a bigger touchscreen infotainment system. The equipment list might also be upgraded. Globally, the Compass will get a new 1.3-litre Firefly Flex engine but the Indian model will continue with the same 1.4-litre MultiAir petrol and 2.0-litre MultiJet diesel options.

Jeep is developing a 7-seater version of the Compass that’ll be longer and the rear-end will feature a different design since it’ll have space to accommodate an additional row. The Indian market will get a full-size 7-seater SUV sharing its platform with the Compass but it remains to be seen whether it is an all-new SUV or one based on the Compass.
