Kawasaki Ninja 400 Updated For 2021, Gets Additional Colourways

This paint scheme will appeal to those who like sombre shades

Kawasaki has updated the Ninja 400 for 2021 by adding 2 new colours. Introduced initially in the Chinese market, the shades provide a touch more sporty flair to the sportbike.

The 2 new colour choices are Twilight Blue and Deep Gray. While the former comes with white and Neon Green graphics, the Deep Gray shade gets orange highlights.

The other 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 400 colours on offer are KRT Lime Green, which is rather popular across the world, and Metallic Spark Black.

Kawasaki is not known for offering a very diverse colour palette when it comes to its 2-wheelers, with its well-known Green shade and a Black paint schemes being the mainstay.

When the Ninja 400 was first launched in India back in 2018, customers could have any colour option they wanted as long as it was KRT Green. Thus, it is interesting to see the Japanese bike manufacturer offer more colour options for the 2021 model year Ninja 400.

That aside, the bike does not sport any changes. It is powered by a 399cc parallel twin engine putting out 46 PS at 9600 RPM and 37.2 Nm at 8000 RPM (China specifications) and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

There is no word from Kawasaki about the reintroduction of the Ninja 400 in the Indian market. It costed Rs. 4.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), when it got discontinued in December 2019.

By adding the Twilight Blue, Kawasaki is heading in the right direction
