Kawasaki Single-Cylinder 250cc Bike Spotted In Indonesia?

Kawasaki launched five motorcycles in India in 2013 and soon three others are going to follow – Z800, Versys 1000 and Ninja ER-6n. Kawasaki fanboys have yet another reason to rejoice because an unknown motorcycle from the Japanese company has been spotted in Indonesia. From the pictures, we can make out that this is a completely new product and not just a previous model with a facelift. It has also come to light that Kawasaki is designing and developing a new single-cylinder bike so there are high chances that this could be a test mule of the new motorcycle.

There are many tell-tale signs which make us believe that this is a Kawasaki product such as the headlamp, front suspension design, frame design and the obvious Kawasaki logo. As you can see, both the mirrors are placed at a weird angle and there is even a possibility of this motorcycle having a fake fairing to hide its actual identity. We already know that Kawasaki manufactures faired as well as naked versions of most of their motorcycles such as Ninja 250 and Z250, Ninja 1000 and Z1000, Ninja 650R and ER-6n, etc.

Kawasaki has made it clear that this is not the Ninja 150 so this increases the possibility of this mule being a 250cc single-cylinder motorcycle that could compete with the Yamaha R15, KTM Duke 200, Honda CBR250R, etc. It is unclear when this product will get launched but still these spy pictures have managed to generate a lot of speculation and excitement among bikers. More details of this new motorcycle from Kawasaki are awaited and we hope the company prices and specs it well. If it does make it to India, we can expect such a bike from Kawasaki to be priced between Rs. 1.5-1.8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
