Kia Clavis Interior Spotted In Latest Spy Shots

Kia Clavis interior is loaded with features

Kia Clavis spotted yet again but this time around the interior details have been revealed. It seems like the Hyundai Exter’s cousin will get a premium treatment looking at the exterior and the interiors.

The test mule is covered in heavy camouflage but notice the new headlights and LED DRLs positioned unconventionally. Then there is the overall squarish design language to make it look more rugged. The dual tone alloy wheels look premium and sit under the square wheel arches with black cladding to add to the ruggedness.

The side profile reveals door mounted ORVMs and unique window lines that look quirky. There are flush-type door handles, which will be seen for the first time in this segment. Notice the panoramic sunroof in one of the spy shots, that’ll be a first-in-segment feature as well. There are high roof rails to give it a tall stance. The rear profile gets vertically stacked tail lights around the windscreen and has a very flattish design.

The interior images reveal a rather spacious cabin with a good amount of headroom thanks to the tall stance. Interestingly, the front and rear passengers get ventilated seats. You can expect 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS and more such features with the Kia Clavis.

We are not sure if all these features will be offered in the final production version for the Indian market but it will definitely give a tough competition to the rivals like Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch.

The engine is expected to be the same as the one in the Hyundai Exter – 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor producing 83 PS and 113.8 Nm torque. It comes with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
