Kia Clavis Spotted In India For The First Time

Kia Clavis spotted heavily camouflaged

Kia Clavis has been spotted testing for the first time in India. The prototype is heavily covered in camouflage. The test mule is in its initial phase of testing. Likely to be launched by 2025 in the Indian market.

In terms of design, the Kia Clavis looks quite boxy and has simple design elements. It has an upright posture to make it look more SUVish. The size looks bigger than the Kia Sonet and smaller than the Kia Seltos, which means it will be positioned between the two.

The front profile gets slim LED DRLs positioned on the bumper. It will get a clamshell bonnet and grille design inspired by bigger Kia SUVs sold in the international market. On the side profile it gets quirky alloy wheel design with squarish design elements. The ORVMs are mounted on the doors. There is black cladding running across the lower half of the body to give it a rugged look.

The B-pillar has a unique kink to it and the roof gets high rails that look functional. The rear profile comes with vertically stacked LED tail lights. It gets a flat rear profile to give it a tall look.

The interior is expected to be spacious with ample headroom, minimal design and loaded with features. Engine options are not confirmed yet officially but we believe it will be offered with both petrol and diesel powertrains.
