Kia Sonet Facelift Revealed, Price Announcement In January 2024

Kia Sonet facelift comes with more bells and whistles, gets ADAS as well!

Kia Sonet facelift revealed, launch and price announcement of the mid-life update is scheduled for January 2024. The South Korean carmaker will start accepting bookings from 20th December.

It comes with an updated exterior which includes new LED headlights with redesigned LED DRLs, new grille design with updated detailing and sporty new bumper with faux skid plates. The side profile gets new 16-inch alloy wheel design with diamond cut styling. There are no other changes here. The rear gets Seltos inspired LED tail lights with a connected LED bar.

The interior looks more or less the same but is loaded with features. It is equipped with LED Ambient Sound Lighting, BOSE Premium 7 Speaker System, Dual Screen Connected Panel Design with 10.25-inch Full Digital Cluster and touchscreen infotainment system, 360 degree camera with blind view monitor on the cluster, rear door sunshade curtain, all door power window one touch up/down, air purifier with virus and bacteria protection and 4 way powered driver seat.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

The engine options remain unchanged but now the diesel engine gets a 6-speed manual transmission option. It gets a 83 HP 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine for the entry-level variants, which is only available with a 5-speed manual. Next up is the 120 HP 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which is available in IMT and DCT transmission options. Then there is the 116 HP 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is available with 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed AT gearbox options.
