After revealing the much anticipated new generation Duke 390, KTM has showcased the Duke 790 prototype that also carries their latest KTM family design language, which is very aggressive and sharp. The specifications of the new 2-cylinder engine will be revealed in the near future when the bike is about to go in production. The new series of 800cc KTMs will see the RC version and Adventure version as well.

KTM’s sister brand Husqvarna is also planning to make an adventure motorcycle based on this new 800cc engine. The Austrian bike maker claims that the new Duke 790 will offer unparalleled poise, telepathic levels of feedback and lightness that’s off the scale.

Some of the key features we can expect from the new KTM Duke 790 is ride-by-wire throttle technology, different riding modes, multi-level traction control and integrated My Rid connectivity with a big instrument cluster digital display. The production version is expected to be revealed in 2017.
