Locally assembled Suzuki Hayabusa is available in 3 colour options in India

The legendary superbike, Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the oldest selling superbike in India. It has a huge fan following in the country and became immensely popular with the Bollywood movie Dhoom in India. Suzuki has now introduced locally assembled Hayabusa in India which retails at Rs. 13.57 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Japanese automaker now imports the Hayabusa via the CKD route and assembles the bike in India which makes it around Rs. 2 lakh cheaper than the CBU units. The price was announced earlier this year in March and now the deliveries have commenced in the country.

The Hayabusa is being assembled at Suzuki’s Gurgaon facility with a special assembly line for the superbike. We can expect Suzuki to bring in more high performance bikes to India via the CKD route. The Hayabusa rivals the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, which is priced around Rs. 17.9 lakhs.

Suzuki is planning to improve the market share of their two-wheeler division in India and for that, the Japanese automaker is seeking help from Maruti Suzuki. Suzuki has appointed a few Maruti Suzuki car dealers to handle Suzuki Motorcycle dealerships to expand their network and two-wheeler business in India.
