Mahindra reopens BE 6 Batman Edition bookings after strong fan demand
Mahindra has announced that it will reopen bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition after strong demand from enthusiasts. The limited-edition electric SUV had previously sold out its entire batch of 999 units within minutes of bookings opening, leaving many interested buyers unable to secure a unit.
The company’s decision to bring the special edition back follows requests from fans across social media platforms. The BE 6 Batman Edition is priced at Rs. 28.49 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant of the BE 6 electric SUV, which comes with a 79 kWh battery pack.
Mahindra will first allow customers to register their interest through an ‘Add Your Preference’ window on its official website starting March 6, 2026. Actual bookings will open on March 10 at 11 AM and will remain available for a single day. Deliveries of the vehicle are scheduled to begin from April 10, 2026.
The carmaker has also introduced a referral benefit for existing owners of the BE 6 Batman Edition. Customers who refer new buyers will receive priority delivery, a move aimed at acknowledging early adopters of the special edition.
The BE 6 Batman Edition features several styling elements inspired by the Batman universe, particularly Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. The themed design has been incorporated into both the exterior and interior while retaining the overall structure of the standard BE 6 electric SUV.
On the outside, the model gets a satin black paint finish along with Batman-themed decals on the front doors. It also features 20-inch alloy wheels, gold-coloured suspension components and brake calipers, and special “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” badging at the rear. Additional design elements include bat emblems placed across multiple areas such as the hub caps, quarter panels, rear bumper and glass surfaces. The SUV also gets an Infinity Roof featuring the Bat emblem and Batman-logo projection lamps.
Inside the cabin, the special edition continues the superhero theme with several customised details. The dashboard features a brushed gold Batman Edition plaque along with charcoal leather trim and gold highlights around the driver area. The upholstery combines suede and leather materials with gold contrast stitching.
The bat emblem is also integrated into various interior elements including the seats, boost button and interior labels. The steering wheel and control elements receive gold accents as well. The infotainment system displays a Batman-themed welcome animation, while the doors feature race-style straps with Batman branding.
Mahindra has also added custom exterior sound effects inspired by the Batman theme to further differentiate the special edition from the standard model.
The BE 6 Batman Edition generated considerable attention when it was first introduced, partly due to its collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and its limited production run. With the original allocation selling out quickly, the company’s decision to reopen bookings offers another opportunity for interested buyers to purchase the themed electric SUV.
