Mahindra TUV300 Accessories List Revealed, Lots Of Options

Mahindra recently launched the TUV300 at an aggressive price (for higher variants) which has made it the talking point. We take a look at the accessories being offered by Mahindra.

Some of the accessories look a bit over-the-top

Indians have a crazy love for SUVs. Size doesn’t matter. As long as a vehicle has high ground clearance and looks like a butch SUV, it is lapped up by buyers. Cashing in on the same craze, manufacturers are coming up with compact SUVs which are affordable enough to make them accessible to a wider audience and compact enough to make them easy to drive within the city. Mahindra is the latest company to join this bandwagon with the TUV300. Launched a few days ago, the SUV seems to have been welcomed well by customers looking at the excitement around.

The Mahindra TUV300 seems to draw inspiration from much more expensive vehicles which isn’t a bad thing for the compact SUV. The styling looks much more interesting than the Quanto which is also a compact SUV. For the ones who would want to further personalise the car, Mahindra is offering several accessories. Following are the accessories available.

Exteriors

* Body kit to give it a “tougher” look
* Chrome garnish for multiple places
* Metal-finish wheel cover
* Illuminated scuff plates
* Seat Covers
* Side step
* Roof carrier
* Bicycle carrier
* Machined alloy wheels
* Xenon headlamps
* Front and rear parking sensors

Interiors

* Rear seat entertainment system
* Thermo-electric chiller
* Heads-up display for the driver
* Surround sound enhancer

While many of these upgrades are usually available with most cars, some of them are pretty unique. The body kit gives the TUV300 a different look but might look a bit tacky to some. Surround sound enhancer and rear-seat entertainment screens will be a nice addition for those who would take the compact SUV for long journeys. Front parking sensors which are usually seen in high-end cars is a nice-to-have feature as an option along with rear ones. What remains to be seen now is how well the new comer is able to compete with the Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.
