The Mahindra XUV700 has clocked 25,000 bookings in just 57 minutes!

Mahindra XUV700 price hiked as the SUV gets more than 25,000 bookings within 57 minutes. The Indian carmaker released the price list initially for the first 25,000 bookings and now they have revised the full price list.

All the variants of the XUV700 are now up to Rs. 50,000/- more expensive. Fresh bookings will be open from 8th October at 10 AM.

Mahindra is yet to disclose the delivery dates, the announcement will happen on 10th October. There will be a huge queue for the delivery since there is a big crisis of chip shortage. That, along with the huge demand of the new SUV, we expect a long waiting period of up to 1 year.

The new Cheetah is powered by a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing 200 BHP and 380 Nm of torque. It is available in both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

There is a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel as well that comes in two states of tune. The entry level variants come with lower output of 155 HP and 360 Nm and are available only with 6-speed manual transmission.

The higher variants come with 185 HP and 420 Nm (450 Nm with AT) torque. It is available with both 6-speed MT and AT. The AT version also has an optional AWD variant.

There is a long list of features on offer including the first in segment ADAS driver assistance system. There is an optional Luxury pack which comes with features like 3D Sound by Sony, smart door handles, electronic park brake, passive keyless entry, 360-degree surround view, wireless charging, continuous digital video recording, driver knee airbag and blind view monitoring.

The new Mahindra XUV700 competes with a range of 5-seater and 7-seater cars including the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, MG Hectro, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
