Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VXI & VXI Plus Trims Spotted Ahead Of Launch

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VXI and VXI Plus models get a lot in common, the differences are mostly subtle changes outside

Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, the VXI and VXI Plus trims of the third generation Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 have been revealed in full inside out. There are only subtle changes between the 2, that too, mostly on the outside.

Maruti Suzuki has officially commenced bookings for the car for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-. Customers can book at any Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership or by logging on to https://www.marutisuzuki.com/alto.

The VXI trim gets body-coloured door handles

First up, both the top-end trims get body-coloured door handles and Matte Black ORVMs. The VXI Plus additionally gets Matte Black door and bumper claddings, bigger roof spoiler, Chrome window sills, tailgate Chrome garnish, and basic Silver wheel covers.

The VXI Plus trim also sports window rain visors but they are most likely to be part of the accessory package. On the inside, both the trims get a rear parcel shelf but the loading lip is quite high. The interior elements are same for both the trims.

The VXI trim gets a small roof-mounted spoiler

There’s a dedicated touch infotainment system which is nearly the same 1 seen on all other Maruti small cars. The steering has option for music and call controls. The manual HVAC system’s controls look quite basic.

There’s a dedicated 12v 120w charging socket along with USB and AUX ports. The dashboard, on the whole, is tall and might provide a sense of safety inside which is not seen on the Alto 800.

There’s a rear parcel shelf but the loading lip is quite high

Coming to the revealed variants, there are a total of 12 variants on offer – STD, STD (O), LXI, LXI (O), VXI, VXI (O), VXI+, VXI+ (O), VXI AGS, VXI (O) AGS, VXI+ AGS, VXI+ (O) AGS.

Power comes from the latest K10C 998 cc engine that churns out 65.7 HP. The length, width, and height are 3530 mm, 1490 mm, and 1520 mm respectively. There are a total of 6 colours on offer.

The VXI Plus trim gets Black door cladding and Silver wheel caps

With over 4.32 million customers in the last 22 years, the Alto is among the most influential car brands in the country. The third generation model is built on the signature Heartect platform and Maruti Suzuki claims it has very low NVH levels.
