Maruti Suzuki has rolled out a new ‘Star Edition’ accessory package for the Maruti Suzuki Eeco, aimed at buyers looking for added visual appeal and basic enhancements. The package is available on the 5-seater AC and CNG variants at an additional cost of Rs. 20,000.
The Star Edition bundles a total of 18 accessories, covering both exterior and interior elements. On the outside, the van gets additions such as a rear spoiler, fog lamps with garnish, wheel covers, door visors, mud flaps and chrome detailing. Inside, buyers are offered seat covers along with a styling kit to enhance the cabin’s look and feel. Body-coloured bumpers are also included, offered in shades like Metallic Glistening Grey and Metallic Brisk Blue.
According to the carmaker, the combined value of these accessories is pegged higher than the asking price of the package, which is set at Rs. 19,999. This cost is over and above the standard price of the vehicle. The Eeco 5-seater AC variant currently starts at Rs 5.54 lakh, while the CNG version is priced from Rs. 6.36 lakh (both ex-showroom).
The accessory bundle appears to be a dealer-level offering and is expected to be available through select Arena outlets, rather than as a factory-fitted limited edition.
Mechanically, the Eeco remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 81 BHP and 105 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The CNG version delivers lower output figures of 70.67 BHP and 95 Nm.
The Eeco has maintained steady demand in the Indian market, serving both personal and commercial use cases with its focus on practicality and affordability. The introduction of the Star Edition package adds a degree of visual customisation, although it does not bring any mechanical or feature upgrades.
