The festive season is here and so are the discounts, offers and special edition models to keep the buyer sentiment positive. A veteran in this regard, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Swift Glory Limited Edition model in the country adding cosmetic updates along with new features inside the cabin. On the outset, the new Swift Glory edition gets sporty side skirts, blackened C-pillars; contrast red finished roof, ORVMs and bumper; black racing stripes and side decals as well as a rear spoiler.

Inside the cabin, the 2015 Maruti Swift Glory Limited Edition adds new features to the mid-level VXi and VDi trims featuring dual tone red and black upholstered seats to match the exterior, a similarly finished steering and gearshift knob cover, Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking sensors with a reverse parking camera and new floor mats. In terms of safety, the mid variants get ABS and EBD as standard while airbags have been given a miss. The model continues to ride on stock steel rims.

Under the hood, the Maruti Swift Glory edition draws power from a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol motor and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that compliment the car’s brilliant driving characteristics. While the new Swift Glory edition should keep the sales momentum going, Maruti Suzuki is also gearing up to introduce the Ertiga facelift in the following weeks (on 10th October) while making its Indian debut will be the all new Baleno premium hatchback scheduled for launch on 26th October. The new Baleno will be positioned above the Swift in the company’s lineup and will be sold via NEXA dealerships only.
